Parable of the Talents
November 17, 2008 by jayeph
Watching the Clay Center stage fill up on Friday night in anticipation of Mahler’s Third Symphony, I couldn’t help but think of Sunday’s lesson from Matthew 25, the parable of the talents. I took these photos from the second balcony before the concert began, and used them in the service on Sunday. There were lots of folks who capitalized on their talents in this crew, no one digging a hole in the backyard for talent burying.

Great thinking JF – that was truly an amazing production and what an enjoyable evening (Ann & I went Saturday). They surely were NOT hiding their talents under a bushel! Talent galore.
